When you load a Marathon 1 map into Forge, it converts all the geometry of the level, but is pretty dumb about how it converts the actual polygon types. This effect allows you to quickly convert the most problematic types to more logical settings. You can also globally convert any polygon type into any other, but this may prove less useful.

This effect was written for Hamish Sanderson because he couldn't face doing this by hand. (and who can blame him?).
